Overall great experience. 🇮🇱

It is situated in the centre of tourist Hermanus -- close to stores, bars, restaurants and others. It is within a small shopping centre that includes a supermarket, pharmacy, cellphone store and more. There is ample and secure parking which is covered by the hotel. The staff will assist you to bring your luggage in and out of the hotel. The rooms are fully equipped for self catering. There were no dish cloths or paper towels in the kitchen. Rooms Clean and well equipped. Bit impractical having stairs to the bedrooms, especially with little kids. Safety 24/7 security. Walkability Close to everything in the centre. Noteworthy details The staff are helpful and prompt. Great view, Quiet

The one venue I will come back to

This venue is superb - views of the mountain on the one side, golf course on the other. Rooms are spacious, with balcony - love the decor! Generous breakfast and the Hermanus market just around the corner. This is the one venue I will come back to , over and over again- experienced this when my children were small, and now that they are grown, my wife and I still love it!

A Whale of a Time at Whale Coast Hotel

My family and I were lucky enough to enjoy a night in Hermanus at the Whale Coast Hotel recently. We stayed in a Luxurious duplex style apartment, fully equipped with all the mod cons one could wish for!

2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, the most amazing beds –we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. Downstairs is an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area – spacious & comfortable.

Whale Coast hotel is located in a Mall – as my daughter stated “I cant believe I am staying in a shopping centre!” – but oddly it works and it was one of our fave stays on our holiday! The next morning we had a fabulous and full English breakfast in their allocated dining area - perfect way to start the day and get out and about to explore the wonders that Hermanus holds.
