DCC SocialDesk

A private Windows dashboard for DCC Hotel Group social accounts, reporting and assisted publishing.

DCC SocialDesk brings DCC Hotel Group's Instagram and Facebook business accounts and the Your Next African Safari YouTube channel into one Windows dashboard for authorized staff.

What it does

  • Refreshes available follower and subscriber counts, reach, views, engagement and recent posts when the app opens and during use.
  • Shows recent posts with images, descriptions and dates for connected accounts.
  • Creates a monthly PDF report for the selected accounts.
  • Opens each account in its own in-app browser profile, with locally saved sign-ins managed by Microsoft Edge WebView2.
  • Helps staff prepare a post or video and finish its upload on Instagram, Facebook or YouTube inside the app.

Connected access

SocialDesk uses Meta connections for selected Instagram and Facebook business analytics. With a staff member's authorization, it requests read-only YouTube and YouTube Analytics access to display channel figures and recent videos. These connections are used for the dashboard and reports. Publishing is completed by the staff member on the platform's own website.

SocialDesk stores dashboard data and protected connection tokens locally on the staff member's Windows computer. For details, read the SocialDesk Privacy Notice.
